Church Has No Power To Stop People From Taking HIV/AIDS Drugs – JOJO
A clergyman in Choma says the church has no power to stop people on Anti-Retro Treatment (ART) to stop medication.
Apostle Boyd Jojo tells Byta FM News in interview that the church only has the responsibility to pray for such members.
He however admits that there are some prophets who say they can heal HIV/AIDS but was quick to mention that people should adhere to the instructions given by health personnel.
Jojo has further advised people to take medicine as the Bible is not against taking ART.
He was reacting to the Network of Zambian People Living with HIV/AIDS complaint that some people stop taking drugs after being prayed for with the hope that they are healed.
