CHURCH HAS INFLUENCE-WALKAWAY

Works and Supply Minister, Mutotwe Kafwaya says the church is an influential institution with the ability to transform the political dispensation in the country.
Mr. Kafwaya says the church has the potential to reduce several vices in the political arena such as violence and tribalism.
He has observed the need for government and the church to continue working together as they both serve the same community.
Mr. Kafwaya said this today during a United Church of Zambia -UCZ- Calvary congregation mothering church service for the Women Fellowship Christian in Kafue District.
And Mr. Kafwaya commended the women for contributing to national development.
Speaking earlier, Kafue District Commissioner, Joseph Kamana called on the youths in the church to participate in the youth day commemorations on Tuesday March 12.
Meanwhile, UCZ Calvary Congregation Minister-in-Charge, Reverend Samuel Sichilima commended government for the support it is rendering to the church.
