Christopher Mvunga urges Zambians in South Africa to be United

DEPUTY Secretary to Cabinet, Christopher Mvunga, has urged Zambians living in South Africa to be united.
Speaking when he delivered his tribute at the requiem mass for the Chairperson of the Zambian Catholic Community in South Africa, Chimwemwe Peter Mtonga, Mr. Mvunga said Zambians should display the sense of patriotism and unity even when living in the diaspora.
And Zambia’s High Commissioner to South Africa His Excellency Emmanuel Mwamba regretted the death of Mr. Mtonga and said it was a deep loss to the Zambian community in South Africa.
He said Mr. Mtonga was instrumental in helping the embassy bring Zambians together.
He said the Mtongas were so active that Mrs. Beauty sits in the Board of the Zambia-South Africa Business Forum(ZSBF).
The body of Mtonga will arrive at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Zambia on Sunday at 15hrs aboard South African Airways.
The requiem service was held on Saturday at St Martin de Porres Parish in Craighall Park in Johannesburg.
