CHONGWE TO HAVE NEW ROADS

Government has unveiled plans to start construction of township roads in Chongwe district.
Chongwe Member of Parliament Japhen Mwakalombe has disclosed this after a tour of roads in the area.
Mr. Mwakalombe also says  government will further rehabilitate existing roads in the district and has called on residents in the district to support government’s developmental projects in the area.
He is happy that Chongwe District  has received a fair share of infrastructure development from  government.
Mr. Mwakalombe who is also Copperbelt province Minister says  road  infrastructure development in his constituency will help grow the  agriculture sector which is the main economic activity in the area.
Meanwhile, Chongwe Central ward area councillor Juvenalis Mulimbika  says Chongwe district has received unprecedented development  under the patriotic front government and that the area has been opened up for investment.
