The Ministry of Health has inspected 1,815 schools in Lusaka Province in readiness for opening on Monday.
Health Minister SYLVIA MASEBO says this represents 98 percent coverage.
She has urged parents to educate their children on good hygiene practices as they resume classes.
And Ms. MASEBO says the country has continued to observe a general downward trend in the number of cholera cases and deaths recorded daily.
One cholera death was recorded out of the 1 82 cases in the last 24 hours.
Ms MASEBO however says the ministry has noted some concerns in the Copperbelt and Central Provinces.
