“We capitalised on the mistakes they made and we were slow in the first half but when the second half resumed we had to push especially in defense and that worked for us,” Chiyangi told the ZamFoot crew in a post match interview.

“The only difference is that for us we have a lot of team spirit that is what has helped us because we work as team, Nkana they have a lot of star players but as a team most of them lost concentration on the ball and did not fight for the ball,” he added.

Chiyangi wants his players to stay focussed going forward if they are to have any chance of lifting the trophy.

“Going forward what is important is to maintain the focus and ensure that this result do not get to our heads, the league is still being played so we can not say that we have alreday won there so many games we have to play,” He said.

Green Eagles maintain the leadership on the log of Stream B with 27 points opening a four point lead while Nkana are stuck 7th with only 12 points but they have four games inn hand.
