Chitotela Warns Tourism Attaches

Tourism and Arts Minister Ronald Chitotela says he will soon recommend for the replacement of Tourism Attaches in Missions abroad that are not producing desired results.Mr. Chitotela says President Edgar Lungu places tourism as one of the five priority areas which calls for greater efforts especially by those in foreign missions.He says the Zambia Tourism Agency -ZTA- must also step up efforts to distribute tourism promotional materials.Mr. Chitotela was speaking when he addressed Zambian envoys at the Zambian Mission in New Delhi, India.And Zambia’s High Commissioner to India Judith Kapinjipanga said over five Hundred Zambians travel to India mainly for medical and conference tourism.Mrs. Kapinjipanga expressed gratitude for receiving 14 Zambia National Dance Troupe cultural artists who visited the country on a fully sponsored program by the Government of India.This is contained in a statement released to ZNBC News by First Secretary Press and Tourism at the Zambian Mission in India Bangwe Naviley.
