Chipolopolo to Camp in Europe before back to back World Cup qualifiers in June 

The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has planned an international camp for the Chipolopolo Boys ahead of the June back to back World Cup qualifiers. 

According to FAZ President, Andrew Kamanga in his weekly update, The President’s corner, the Chipolopolo Boys will be camped in Europe before the two important matches.

Zambia travel to face Morocco on June 8 before hosting Tanzania three days later. 

“We are also working in the background to prepare adequately for the Group E 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Tanzania and Morocco respectively. Zambia will be away to Morocco in Agadir on June 8 before hosting Tanzania at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola three days later,” Kamanga wrote. 

“We have an international camp lined up for the Chipolopolo in Europe as part of intense and concentrated preparations. We have never faltered on our duty to adequately prepare our various national teams for various international assignments.”

Zambia are currently second in group E after beating Congo Brazzaville 4-2 on Match Day one before losing 2-1 to Niger on Match Day 2. 

Winners of each Group will automatically qualify for the FIFA World Cup™ 2026. 

The four best runners-up (from the Groups) will play in a CAF Play-Off tournament. 

The winner of the CAF Play-Off Tournament will play in the FIFA Play-off Tournament.
