By Musenge Mulimba

The Chipolopolo boys will tomorrow kick-start their bid to qualify to the 2026 FIFA world cup set for USA, MEXICO and CANADA.

The Chipolopolo boys host Congo Brazzaville in their opening match at Ndola’s Levy Mwanawasa stadium.

And National team coach AVRAM GRANT says starting the campaign with a win will be key if the team is to qualify to their first world cup.

Speaking during a pre-match press conference in Ndola, GRANT said the game will not be an easy one but the boys are ready for the challenge.

He said despite missing Captain LUBAMBO MUSONDA through injury, the team has experienced players to play in his position.

And National Football Team striker FASHION SAKALA said the morale in camp is high because qualifying to the world cup is now the team’s objective.

Zambia is in group E with Morocco, Tanzania, Niger and Congo Brazzaville.
