CHIPOLOPOLO LOSS DISHEARTENS LUNGU WHILE SHEPOLOPOLO DELIGHT

President Edgar Lungu has described the Zambia National Football team’s loss to Mozambique as disheartening.
The President Lungusays he was hoping that the team would qualify to the 2019 Cameroon AfCON.
The Head of state has urged the team and the football Association of Zambia -FAZ – to get back to the drawing board.
The Chipolopolo Boys failed to qualify to the 2019 Cameroon AfCON after suffering a 1-nil defeat away to Mozambique in the Group K match played in Maputo yesterday.
This is the second time in a roll that the Chipolopolo have failed to qualify for the continental show piece.
Meanwhile the Zambia National Women’s football team were emphatic 5-nil winners over former champions Equatorial Guinea.
Grace Banda and Ieen Lungu had put Shepolopolo 2-nil up before half-time, with Mary Mwakapila and two goals from Rachael Kundanaji giving Zambia a big victory.
