CHIPOLOPOLO CORNER: MORE PLAYERS RULED OUT

Chipolopolo striker Moses Phiri has been ruled out of Sunday’s Clash against Sudan after sustaining an injury.

Phiri who is on books for ZANACO Football Club sustained a calf injury in Friday’s practice match against Sudan that saw the Chipolopolo lose 3-2.

And Zambia National Team Doctor George Phiri said this when giving a medical report ahead of Sunday’s FIFA International Friendly against Sudan in Khartoum.

Phiri said Cardiff City’s Ntazana Mayembe , Prince Mumba and Lameck Siame are  on the medical watch list and are not participating in the team’s activities.

He has also praised the team for adhering to the COVID-19 guidelines which has helped in recording zero cases among the players.

Phiri said the situation is under control in terms of medical problems within the camp.

He further said three players namely Rodger Kola , Brian Mwila and Goalkeeper Mwenya Chibwe  are nursing hamstring injuries.

Phiri however said the players are being managed accordingly and may feature in the game tomorrow.

Zambia plays Sudan on Sunday in the final international friendly match during the FIFA window.
