Chipolopolo Battle Goalless Draw In Gambia

Chipolopolo battled to a goalless draw against Gambia in the second of their two international friendly matches on their West African tour before facing Guinea Bissau in the 2017 Gabon Africa Cup qualifier on Saturday.

George Lwandamina’s lads lost 1-0 to Togo on Friday before the barren draw against Gambia.

Lwandamina’s charges will need to up their game going into Saturday’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier to enhance their chances of making it to Libreville next year.

Chipolopolo are third tied with Congo Brazzaville on six points while Guinea Bissau tops Group E on seven points.

Zambia flies to Guinea later today to set up base ahead of Saturday’s crucial encounter.
