Chinese firm interested to invest in aviation technology

Central Province Minister Sydney Mushanga has revealed that a Chinese firm Nanchang white horse aviation technology has shown interest to invest millions of dollars in aviation technology in Kabwe following the successful hosting of the central province investment forum and expo last year.

Mr. Mushanga says the Chinese firm intends to set up a manufacturing plant for drones and related gadgets.

He has told q-news in an interview that applications of drones in industries such as agricultural will influence the aviation technological industry to invest Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV.

Mr. Mushanga says the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) are effective in addressing praedial larceny, assessing damage following natural disasters such as a flood or hurricane, and will better assist farmers to put measures in place to boost crop yield.

He adds that the drones can also give a better picture as to crop production, identify areas that might need irrigation, and also plants that may be lacking in nutrients.

Mr. Mushanga has noted that the drones, also referred to as Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVS), can offer a solution for farmers through live feeds of the farms.
