Chilumba is the new ‘Tenant’ at Kansanshi Dynamos

Newly promoted Zambia Super League side, Kansanshi Dynamos has appointed Tenant Chilumba as their new head coach ahead of the new season.

The North Western-based outfit confirmed the development in a press conference streamed online and a press statement made available to the ZamFoot Crew on Saturday. Chilumba has penned a two-year deal with the Mabanga Boys.

“We are pleased to announce that Kansanshi Dynamos FC has appointed Tenant Chilumba as the Head Coach on a 2 years contract.

His appointment comes at a time when The Fearless Mabanga Boys are preparing for life in the MTN sponsored FAZ Super League 21/22 season.”

Donwell Yobe and Happy Sichikolo are the two other additions to the coaching staff as an assistant coach and physical trainer.

“The Old Technical Bench has been maintained [No departures].

‘TC’ is a man who needs no introduction;

A Former Zambia International with AFCON experience as well as Coaching stints in Zimbabwe with Fc Platinum and on the local front Power Dynamos FC, NAPSA Stars FC, Kabwe Warriors FC, and more recently Forest Rangers FC.”

The former NAPSA Stars and Kabwe Warriors head coach was sent on administrative leave by Fole Malembe in May after a string of poor results.

Chilumba joined Forest Rangers in December 2019 and helped them qualify for the CAF Champions League after finishing second on goal difference to eventual winners Nkana in the 2019/2020 season that ended at week 27 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
