CHIFUNABULI CHIEFS SAY NO TO CHANGE

Traditional leaders in Chifunabuli District of Luapula Province say there is no need to change government.

Speaking on behalf of the traditional leaders, Senior Chief Mwewa said President Edgar Lungu should continue beyond 2021 because of the good performance of the PF administration.

He says those who knew Chifunabuli can attest that the area has improved under President Lungu’s rule.

Senior Chief Mwewa says the people of Luapula cannot be told that PF has failed when they are able to see roads, hospitals and schools that have been put up by government.

He said chiefs are happy with the President for choosing Professor Nkandu Luo as his running mate as well as giving them a Woman parliamentary candidate.

The traditional leader said this when President Lungu held a meeting with them in Chifunabuli District.

In response, President Lungu expressed gratitude with the support he has been getting from traditional leaders.

He said his government will continue working with chiefs to take development to the people.

The President said government will ensure projects that are under construction are completed.
