CHIEF WANTS MP TO RESIGN

Senior Chief Ndungu of the Luvale people in Zambezi district in North-Western Province has advised UPND Chavuma Member of Parliament VICTOR LUMAYI to resign from his position saying he has failed electorates in the constituency.
Chief Ndungu said in an interview at his palace in Zambezi that the people of Chavuma constituency are regretting because their MP has failed to represent them.
The traditional leader’s sentiments come in the wake of a recent statement by Mr Lumayi that the launch of the construction of mini hospitals in Zambezi and Chavuma districts by government is a political gimmick to woo voters ahead of the by-election.
And North-Western Province Patriotic Front -PF- chairperson Jackson Kungo said the ruling party will not be selective when it comes to delivering development in the country.
Mr Kungo said President Lungu wants to see development countywide even to regions where he was not voted for during the 2016 general elections.
