CHIEF SINANZONGWE DIES

Chief Sinanzongwe of the Tonga people of Sinazongwe district has died.
The traditional ruler died last night at the University Teaching Hospital -UTH- in Lusaka after an illness.
ZANIS reports that Southern Province Minister Edify Hamukale confirmed the development in a statement issued today.
Dr. Hamukale said the death of Chief Sinazongwe is a blow to the province as the deceased was an advocate of socio-economic development not only in his chiefdom but the province at large.
Burial arrangements will be announced later.
