CHIEF NSAMBA WARNS AGAINST DIALOGUE FAILURE

Chief Nsamba of Lunga district in Luapula Province says failure to iron out differences through platforms like the Zambia Centre for Interparty Dialogue -ZCID- is a potential cause of conflict, which the country can avoid at all costs.
Chief Nsamba says it is important that the national dialogue process produces tangible results that can lead to reconciliation in the country.
He said Zambia has continued to enjoy peace and unity that should be cherished despite the difference in people’s opinions.
The traditional leaders said he is optimistic that the national dialogue process will set a good precedent for future generations.
The chief said this in an interview with ZNBC News in Lusaka today.
Chief Nsamba has urged stakeholders participating in the national dialogue to exhibit open mindedness and put the interests of the Zambians first.
