Chief Mumena Tells ZAF to Increase presence in Kalumbila

Chief MUMENA of Kalumbila District in North Western Province has called on the Zambia Air Force – ZAF to enhance its presence in the district owing to the increased investments in the district.

Chief MUMENA says enhanced air space patrols as this will help with security in the area.

He said this when ZAF Deputy Commander Major General, AUTHOR KALALUKA paid a courtesy call on him at his palace.

The Traditional leader revealed that there are numerous explorations taking place in the district that require enhanced air security which will help to build investor confidence.

Meanwhile, Major General KALALUKA called on Chief MUMENA to allocate land to the defense force for agriculture purposes.

He said ZAF wants to venture in agriculture and plans to set up a farming block in Kalumbila because of the favorable climatic conditions  in the district.
