CHIEF LITETA’S COURT TROUBLES CONTINUE

CHEIF Liteta’s court troubles have continued with his wife Prisca Malembeka now suing him in the Lusaka High Court to prevent him  from evicting her from her house.
The traditional leader is currently in the subordinate court for allegedly assaulting his wife. Ms Malembeka complained of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
According to a statement of claim filed in the High Court, Ms Malembeka stated that she obtained a piece of land through a village head man and a certificate of title was issued in June this year.
However, Ms Malembeka claimed that Chief Liteta’s lawyers gave her 14 days to vacate the house without proper reasons, purporting that it was in the palace of Chief Liteta.
