CHEMICALS DISTRIBUTION LAUNCHED

By Katwishi Bwalya:Government has launched the distribution of chemicals to fight army worms  in Lusaka Province.Lusaka Province has been allocated 10 thousand litres of chemicals and Lusaka Province Minister Bowman Lusambo flagged off the exercise in Chongwe this morning.And, Mr. Lusambo is disappointed that the exercise to distribute chemicals has delayed despite the prediction that the worms will again attack this year.He comforted farmers that government will distribute chemicals together with inputs for the next farming season.And, Chongwe District Commissioner Robister Mwanza said 35 percent of crops has been damaged by the army worms.
