Chamanga braces Arrows to third place in Stream A

James Chamanga stole the show oon Sunday at Heroes Stadium as he helped Red Arrows to a 2-1 win over Lusaka dynamos with a first half brace. The Former Supersport United was a lively figure throughout the match.

Chamanga put the Airmen in the lead stricking in the first minute after firing a pass from Bruce Musakanya with a thunderous shot beyond Monga Ndala.

Lusaka dynamos pulled level in the 24tg minute after Arrows defender Elvis Bissong scored an own-goal. However, Chamanga put Arrows back ahead the 27th minute when he round goalkeeper Monga Ndala to score his second of the match after benefiting from a poor back pass.

Arrows held on to win the match 2-1.The win took the Airmen to third place on the log with 24 points just two behind log leaders Sensational Zanaco.

In the Early kick off Green Eagles passed up a chance to open a six point lead at the summit of Stream B after they were held to a barren draw by High Flying Nkwazi.

This was Chamanga’s fourth game and these were his first goals on his return from abroad after 13 years abroad.
