President Edgar Lungu says he will instruct Health Minister Chitalu Chilufya to ensure that the newly constructed Chadiza and Vubwi District Hospitals are fully equipped.
President Lungu says it is not fair for the people of Chadiza and Vubwi to be covering long distances to access advanced health services when government has constructed big hospitals in their localities.
He says the two hospitals should be given all the necessary equipment so that people benefit.
The head of state said this when he met traditional leaders in Chadiza District.
And speaking on behalf of the traditional leaders, Chief Zingalume expressed happiness that works on the roads have started in the district .
The traditional leader is further happy that government has started the process of establishing NATSAVE Bank to Chadiza.
And Agriculture Minister Michael Katambo said government will next year increase the number of beneficiaries of the Farmer Input Support Program.
Mr. Katambo said government wants those who were not captured to be catered for in the next farming season.
