CAF CC: Nkana walloped in Ghana as Kotoko go second

Asante Kotoko 3-0 Nkana (A Fatawu 4′ E Gyamfi 23, M Antwi 26′)
Nkana FC were on Sunday evening bashed 3 – 0 by Asante Kotoko in a game played in Kumasi.
All the goals in the game came in the first half and despite re-organizing, Nkana failed to come back in the game.
Nkana went into the game leading group C on 6 points but they have since fallen to 3rd position after a disastrous day that also saw Zesco United beaten 3 – 1 by Al Hilal.
The biggest talking point of the match was the performance of goal keeper Allan Chibwe.
More to follow…….
Allan Chibwe has killed Nkana twice. The first two goals were purely his fault and I was annoyed could not continue watching the game. Even in Tanzania against Simba F C it was Chibwe’s hesitant which allowed the opponents to score. I am sure Malunga should have done better. Now to our coaches, it appears we don’t come up with the right strategy playing teams out side the Country on foreign soil. It was a very well know fact that Kotoko were going to start with an all out attack. We should have consolidated the defense first and hit them on counter attacks and kill the game.
