Can Nkwazi go five win trot

SATURDAY – March 2, 2019

Nkwazi Vs Buildcon

Edwin Imboela Stadium

15:00hrs

Live on SuperSport

This is easily the best game of the weekend and will be a true test of where both these teams sit at this stage of the season.

Nkwazi made it four wins on the trot with a dominant performance against Green Eagles and the Policemen will go into this clash as clear favourites – with the fact that they have only lost once in their past four games against the visitors.

Nkwazi are proving to be a safe betting play as home favourites in the past weeks – winning 4 of their past 5 games in this scenario – and they are the most form team combining both streams in the same period.

Buildcon are another side that has hit a roadblock in the past fortnight – dropping points against Napsa Stars at home and before that losing to Green Eagles in Choma.

New manager at Buildcon still has plenty of work to do with this side and their poor record against Nkwazi may just prove difficult here and does not encourage confidence.

If Nkwazi are genuine title contenders they really should be able to win this clash and I am keen to back them to do just that but the home team will always disappoint you if you have all your eggs in their busket , we have seen it a number times.

My Prediction : Nkwazi 0-0 Buildcon

Napsa Stars Vs Forest Rangers

Edwin Imboela Stadium

Live on SuperSport

The Muhammad Fathi era could not have got off to a better start.

The master manager has Napsa Stars playing a simply outstanding brand of football and they have already solidified their position as dominant CAF slots favourites. They rarely lose and from losing positions , Napsa are grinding results, somethig that the team failed lamentably in the 2018 season.

Napsa Stars will start this clash with Forest Rangers as dominant favourites and it would take a braver man to me to suggest that they won’t be able to secure the three points – even if they have only won five of their past 12 games against Forest Rangers, they look better than the visitors in this one.

Forest Rangers have struggled since their opening day victory against Green Eagles and their tough draw to start the season does not get any easier. Two draws and Two losses in five games doesn’t look like a side that can fight for honours this season.

There is no value at the current price on offer for a Napsa Stars victory, but they really improve better than the two wins and two draws they have coming into this game. Advantage they have is the resilient to do well away, something they need to replicate in their home fixtures. They look set here for maximum points.

My Predfiction: Napsa Stars 2-0 Forest Rangers

Lumwana Radiants Vs Power Dynamos

Lumwana Stadium

15:00hrs

Power Dynamos have found form in recent weeks and they will start this clash as favourites to make it three wins on the trot.

Power clearly took plenty of confidence from their win over Circuit City and they produced one of their best performances in the past months against Nkana the other week.

Away favourtism is a position that Power Dynamos have not had much experience in in the past months but they are traveling to a place they ha e never lost in the last three visits . Power Dynamos have gotten two draws and one victory in Lumwana from the time the North Western outfit announced their stay in the super league.

Lumwana Radiants have started the Transitional League season in truly putrid fashion and they have taken just two points from their five games to dates.

They are one of the two teams yet to pick a win so far in this stream alongside MUZA and at this stage of the season it is very tough to see how they won’t end up in the relegation battle. Lumwana Radiants are struggling. You don’t see were goals would actually come from.

Is Power Dynamos serious contenders here to get three points and possibly lead the group should Nkwazi drop points ,of course on goal difference .

My Prediction: Lumwana Radiants 2-2 Power Dynamos

Circuit City Vs FC MUZA

National Heroes

13:00hrs

Live on SuperSport

With the way their season has started off, FC MUZA will be glad they have had a full week to prepare for this game after their game was postponed due to Nkana engagement in CAF games.

Sitting dead last and in desperate need of a win, they take on a Circuit City side sitting in 6th place, probably where MUZA expected themselves to be at this stage.

They were able to show resiliency in the zones but this one is proving tough for the Mazabuka outfit . The biggest worry is that they are conceding at a much higher rate and that makes things considerably tougher for a side that isn’t filled with noted goal-scorers. They have allowed five goals already and only scored once.

Having failed to score in three of the last four games, they appear to be in for another long afternoon and Circuit City offer excellent value at this price.

My Prediction : Circuit City 1-1 MUZA
