At some point, eventually, Green Buffaloes will win a Super League match to add to that one win against Nakambala. This probably could be this weekend, but it’ll come with a lot of fighting and hard working.
After picking up their fourth loss of the season in last week’s game against Zesco United, they face bottom placed Prison Leopards, who have been one of the most impressive sides recently despite their position. They drew 0-0 in the first round.
There is not a lot of in depth analysis required for this game, GBFC look good, and Prison Leopards should grind better results, bet accordingly.

The beauty of the Super League is that a match between defending champions and the ever struggling still carries some intrigue. Having played over half of the season, the clubs that know they maybe already in a relegation fears know they need three points and games like these are where to pick them up. Beat the big ones and give a serious statement.
Picking up three points away at Kitwe United for Nakambala Leopards, would have felt as good as winning the title but the sugar boys know they have another tough test here. This will be a tough one for Zesco United but I think they will get something from it.

Mufulira Wanderers Vs Red Arrows

All eyes will be on Mufulira in this kickoff as Wanderers take to the pitch a week after the executive brought in Elijah Chikwanda as coach replacing Justin Chinama. While others will think it’s not the ideal circumstances with the CEO in the middle of it, the competition continues, and Mufulira Wanderers will undoubtedly be the public favorite for this match.
There is every chance the events of the past week could galvanize the squad and they could arrest their three game winless streak but there are too many uncertainties around this team.
What is certain is the fact Red Arrows look good this season including last week where they ran over ZANACO in a 2-1 victory. Backing against Red Arrows has been a useful play this season and while Mufulira Wanderers are unknowns, you can go against the home team with some confidence here.

If you’re looking for goals… this probably isn’t the match you want to watch. Kabwe Warriors won three in a row to lift themselves top and after that, they have had two draws bringing the total number to six draws in 10 games. That’s dropping 12 points from possible 18. Not good for Warriors .
Kitwe United on the other hand don’t have goals in their team . They have only scored 8 and not much movement on the table. So a cagey game here but this has all the makings of a tight encounter.
The visitors will look to keep things tight and rely on their defensive play but I think Kabwe Warriors will get back to winning ways.

Zanaco Vs Lusaka Dynamos

Easily the biggest match of the round, this is a game that is well worth staying up (or waking up) for. ZANACO are league leaders and have lost twice already but Lusaka Dynamos have only lost once. Historically this has been a very high scoring fixture with seven of the last eight matches having a total of 26 goals so don’t be at all surprised if this game continues that trend.
Even with that history, this is a new Lusaka Dynamos side under Patrick Phiri, despite dropping points against Kabwe Warriors they are still unbeaten in their last seven League matches and appear to have a stronger edge. Facing ZANACO will be their biggest test since their last loss, which came away to this team losing 5-2.
One issue that has plagued them however is their slow starts and them taking a halftime lead is a good value play here.

Forest Rangers continue to punch well above their weight sitting in fifth with four wins, three draws and three losses after 10 games in stream A. They are doing a great job of picking up points against the teams they are expected to however Nkwazi, even with their uneven form will represent a huge test for them. This fixture has been heavily weighted in Nkwazi’s favor and this is due to the positions on the league table.
But then Nkwazi has a better head to head record against Forest Rangers and have won eight games in the last 17 with four away and four at home. But this one for me looks like a Forest Rangers win.

If you are looking for any hope for MUZA here, I am are struggling to find any to be totally honest. A trip away from Lusaka might actually help Circuit City after they experience the pitfalls of venue sharing in their home games and I think they play well on the road. They have lost the last three games after a promising start These defeats ended their good start and maybe reality is setting up but they have a great chance to kick start a new one when they take on a Lumwana Radiants side that are not too good at home this season.
So far this season, Lumwana’s vaunted attack has failed to click with the side tallying just 11 goals so far however they will be happy to be coming from a win against Nkana. We shall have goals here and with Circuit playing without fear , this game will be interesting.

Power Dynamos will have to go into this game with the momentum of putting up a win after that away win in Mazabuka. Green Eagles will just be happy to see the back to back wins after the famous home win again. They know they can do it and make Power quiet at their backyard.
The visitors took four points from their meetings last season including a 1-0 win in Choma however it is hard to have any confidence in either side having the wherewithal to score enough to win here. A low scoring draw is the smart play for this game with Power Dynamos the most likely to come with a win.
