BUPE & MAPALO HAVE A SISTER BUT …

The parents of Bupe and Mapalo the formerly conjoined twins have welcomed a new baby girl, who has been named after first lady Esther Lungu.
The mother Lydia Mwape says looking after her children is a challenge because she and her husband have no means to feed the family.
Mrs. Mwape says the new born, Esther Lungu Mwape has been named after the first lady to show appreciation for her big heart and love for children.
She said this in an interview with ZNBC News in Kawambwa district when Pambashe Member of Parliament Ronald Chitotela , who is also Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development, visited the twins.
Meanwhile, Kawambwa District Health Director Arthur Mataka said the twins who were recently reunited with their parents after being in an orphanage are enjoying good health but lack good nutritional health.
Dr. Mataka said Mapalo and Bupe will continue to receive regular checkups from the district hospital.
And Mr. Chitotela said government has continued to ensure there is quality health care in the country.
