Buffaloes hold log leaders Leopards

Chansa Kunda-Late action drama saw Green Buffaloes come from two goals down to hold log leaders Prison Leopards to a 2 all draw in week six of the MTN Super league.

With only minutes to go before the end of the fixture Leopards spilled their two nil lead from the first half after goals in jury time from JOHN KOSAMU in the 87th minute and GEORGE NGOMA’S extra time strike cancelled out DAVID OBASH and LUBINDA MUNDIA’s goals for leopards.

Leopards maintain a top slot on 12 points while Buffaloes are in third position on 10 points.

It was an afternoon of dramatic endings as Nchanga Rangers pulled a late equalizer to deny 10 men Nkana their second win of the season.

A late striker by Nchanga incited havoc as Referee AUDRICK NKOLE was escorted off the pitch by Police offers denying him a chance to end the game on professional grounds.

The Chingola outfits have moved to second position on 11 points while Nkana are 15th on 5 points.

The early fixture played at the Nchanga stadium saw Kansanshi dynamos inflict a two nil defeat on Green eagles.

NAPSA Stars was the only other side that picked up three points in Saturday’s fixture after thrashing MUZA three nil.
