Division One Zone One side, City of Lusaka have today announced the appointment of Kenneth ‘Bubble Malitoli has head coach.

The Lusaka based side are hopeful that Malitoli will change the fortunes at the Woodlands Stadium having been relegated from the Super League in the 2016 season.

Malitoli, who was recently invited for the centenary celebration for his former Tunisian side Tunis De Esperance joins City of Lusaka who are 9th on the log with 9 points.

Bubble will try his luck with the Woodlands Stadium club who are fighting for promotion to the Super Division but are sitting on position number eleven.

The former SuperSport pundit joins the team who are 10 points shy of league leaders National Assembly and have only managed to two wins, three draws, losing three times and scoring 10 goals at the same time allowing 11 goals.

The Nkana legendary striker has had coaching stints with Indeni, Forest Rangers, Nchanga Rangers, Nkana, Kalulushi Modern Stars, Livingstone Pirates and Lusaka City Council F.C.

Malitoli first cut his coaching teeth at Nkana as assistant player-coach to Patrick Phiri in 2000 and then moved to relegation strugglers Indeni as player-coach the following year to replace Dickson Makwaza but when Indeni were demoted from the Zambian Premier League, he retired from the game and joined promotion side Kitwe United as coach early in 2002.

He however left in October after a poor run of results and was replaced by Peter Kaumba.

At the unveiling ceremony, City of Lusaka announced that former University of Pretoria and Kaizer Chiefs physical trainer Thabo Moloi has part of the technical bench.
