Bring all graft culprits to book-Mwaliteta

Ruth Chayinnda-The ruling UPND in Lusaka Province has called on the Anti Corruption Commission -ACC- and the Drug Enforcement Commission -DEC- to review all cases of alleged corruption and bring culprits to book.

UPND Lusaka Province Chairman OBVIOUS MWALITETA says the party wants to ensure that all stolen monies are recovered.

He has charged that recent investigations by investigative wings have revealed that officials from the previous government were involved in some corrupt activities involving public funds.

Mr. MWALITETA has wondered why some people are complaining of being victimized when they were involved in alleged corrupt activities.

He also said the UPND will not continue tolerating politicians fond of insulting and accusing President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA of instructing the ACC to follow up on corruption cases.

Addressing the media in Lusaka today, Mr. MWALITETA said President HICHILEMA has been very clear on cadreism and party members have adhered to the instruction.
