Boy, 3, dies after being knocked down by a female learner driver in Lusaka

A THREE year old baby boy has died on the spot after he was knocked down by a 34 year old female learner driver identified as Nkwazima Nyirenda.
The accident happened on Sunday around 18:00 hours at Lusaka’s Makeni Villa area involving a Toyota spacio registration ALL 6812.
The deceased identified as Maybin Mungala aged three years sustained fatal head injuries and died on the spot.
Deputy Police Spokesperson Rae Hamoonga said the accident occurred when the learner driver failed to keep to her nearside.
And Hamoonga said the suspect is currently detained in police custody.
