Bowman Lusambo #FixingLusaka: Police officers summoned over staging illegal roadblocks to extort money

LUSAKA Province Minister Bowman Lusambo has summoned four Police Officers of Matero Police Station on allegations of mounting illegal road blocks to extort money from motorists.The summon follows a random road inspection which the minister conducted along Lusaka’s Mungwi road where officers were caught collecting cash from motorists and tried to hide the money upon seeing the minister.The officers mounted the illegal roadblock along Mungwi Road in Lusaka at which they were caught getting money from motorists without issuing receipts.
