Black Leopards goal-scoring machine Mwape Musonda is reported to be on his way out of the Limpopo based club Black Leopards. According to club chairman David Thidiela, Mwape has received a number of offers from both local and international clubs.

Thidiela believes its time for the Chipolopolo forward to move on as he has done what he was supposed to do for Lidoda Duvha.

“This guy has scored goals for us in the National First Division (NFD). We returned to the PSL and he continued to score goals and won the top goalscorer award,” Thidiela told local magazine Isolezwe in an interview.

“We want to sell Musonda because he has done a good job for us. We want him to join a club that plays in a top league. What more do we need for him?” he added.

The Zambian striker guided Black Leopards to the top flight of South Africa football and continued his red-hot form as he finished his first season back in the PSL as the league’s top goal-scorer with 16 goals.

Musonda previously had lacklustre showings in the colours of Orlando Pirates and Lamontville Golden Arrows before he was offloaded to the Limpopo-based outfit in 2016.
