Green Buffaloes football club and Napsa Stars shared a point each after an entertaining 2-2 draw in the MTN FAZ Super League played on Saturday at the Woodlands Stadium in Lusaka.

With the Second half of the 2019/2020 fast approaching Green Buffaloes head Coach Bilton Musonda is happy with his side despite giving up the lead twice in the match.

“We were confident on the ball which we have been lacking in the past games but today we could see so many numbers going upfront, as a team we are proud of today’s performance although we gave away the lead so we are disappointed by allowing the opponents to get a point,” Musonda told the ZamFoot Crew in an interview.

Musonda explained that the teams’ performance has improved in the past two games due to the hard work that is being done during training sessions and more Signings are likely to be made especially in the Striking Force.

“Robin Siame has been Excellent he can provide good passes then it’s a plus to the team so excellent for Siame, Martin Phiri is a buffaloes player for now and we expect him to start training this coming week,” he said.

“We want to beef up the team and the response has been positive we are looking forward to adding one or two players more especially Upfront and at the back to assist our skipper,” he added.

He went on to say the season has not been easy for Green Buffaloes with the first round coming to an end.

“This season has been tough not only to GBFC but to so many teams because you can tell with the number of points going into the second round of the season so our performance has been up and down but we need to pull up.”

The Lusaka based side are ninth on the log table with 25 Points after seventeen games played in the 2019/2020 Super League season.
