Green Buffaloes head coach Bilton Musonda bemoaned his clubs failure to utilise their numerical advantage to beat Zanaco on Saturday. The Soldiers suffered their second loss in as many games on Saturday when they visited Sensational Zanaco in a week 16 MTN/FAZ Super league game at Sunset Stadium in lusaka.

A disappointed Bilton Musonda told the ZamFoot Crew in a post match interview that the soldiers had a lot of problems.

“Its unfortunate that we could not collect even a point from the game this is due to poor finishing because Numerically we were advantaged after Peter Banda of Zanaco was given a Red Card but we failed to capitailse on that,” Musonda Said.

Zanaco were reduced to ten men after referee Audrick Nkole sent off defender Peter Banda for a second bookable offence.

Musonda described the 2019 MTN/FAZ Super League season as a tough one but promised that his team was going to do better going forward.

“Its a season which had a lot of problems from having two different Coaches within the season who came with a different approch and it takes time for the players to adapt to the new philosophy within a shot period of time,” he said.

The defeat was the Zambia Army sponsored sides sixth of the season leaving them on 6th place with 16 points and they need atleast a point from their last two games to survive relegation.
