The contract of Chipolopolo boss Sven Vandenbroeck shall not be renewned.

A statement from FAZ general secretary Adrian Adry Kashman Kashala states.

Vandenbroeck’s last assignment is the March 23 Africa Cup 2019 dead rubber qualifier against Namibia.

Meanwhile, Aggrey Chiyangi and Mumamba Numba appointed as first and second Chipolopolo assistant coaches.

Chintu Kampamba has been dropped from the Chipolopolo technical bench.

The decision not to renew Vandenbroeck’s contract that ends next monthend was made at a FAZ executive committee meeting at the weekend.

The Belgian was handed a short contract whose mission was to qualify to the 2019 Africa Cup.

However, he failed to do so, losing two matches and drawing one and winning one.

Meanwhile, Kashala says FAZ shall continue on the path of football development by recognizing and promoting young talent and building football administration across the country.

He also said that the Under-23 national team shall continue to prepare for the Under-23 Africa Cup qualifier against Malawi en route to the mission of qualifying to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Kashala also stated that Football House expects nothing but a resounding victory in Vandenbroeck’s last match in charge against Namibia.
