BE RESPONSIBLE-MULENGA
Zambia National Service -ZNS- Commandant Lieutenant General Nathan Mulenga has urged people to be responsible as they engage in different activities during the festive season.
Lieutenant General Mulenga says it is important for citizens to be peaceful because there is only one country.
He was speaking at his residence when he hosted a party for female inmates and their children from Lusaka central correctional facility.
Lieutenant General Mulenga said it is important for people to share with the less privileged in society especially during this season.
Meanwhile, St Ignatius Parish team Priest Father Charles Chilinda urged Christians to emulate general Mulenga’s gesture and share with the less fortunate in society this Christmas because Jesus represents giving and sharing.
And General Mulenga’s daughter Mubanga said her family decided to share with the children because they are just victims of circumstances and deserve love and care like any other child.
