Lieutenant General BARRY says Colonel LYSON SIAME and Second Lieutenant KALASA BWALYA may not be military veterans in the strictest sense of the word, but they must be honored as such for having dedicated their lives to serving the country.

He was speaking in Livingstone during the sendoff church service held at United Church of Zambia All saints congregation.

General BARRY also consoled the ZAF personnel, to take heart and continue serving the people of Zambia with courage and honour.

He said the path the officers have chosen is not for the faint hearted but for men and women of courage.
