BARBARA BANDA TRAINS WITH LUSAKA DYNAMOS LADIES FC

Lusaka Dynamos Ladies FC has been privileged to train with superstar Barbara Banda of Shanghai who just returned to Zambia two days ago.

She is keeping fit ahead of joining the Shepolopolo camp which is preparing for the COSAFA Women’s tournament to be hosted in South Africa next month. The Bruce Mwape tutored national team is vying for a maiden regional title and will be favorites with Barbara in camp.

The striker, who shined during the Tokyo 2021 Olympics qualifiers, trained at Queensmead Stadium this morning.

Barbara was visited by a Reuters news crew who came to document her views about her exploits and plans.

Yesterday, the top scorer in the just ended Chinese womens league, addressed the LD ladies team players and encouraged them to remain focused and disciplined if they are to succeed in their football careers. She narrated how she started playing football in the humble environs of Bauleni, walking to games through the graveyard, to her current dizzy heights of Pudong.
