Boy Commits Suicide Over Mother’s K15

A 13-YEAR-OLD boy of Kasama’s Misanfu area has committed suicide after his mother scolded him for stealing her K15.
Goodwin Mwape hanged himself On a mango tree.
“This happened yesterday [Friday] 30th September 2016 between 17:00 hours and 18:00 hours. The deceased decided to take his life after his mother scolded him on the same date for stealing her K15. The body is lying in Kasama General Hospital Mortuary awaiting burial,” police spokesperson Esther Mwaata Katongo stated in a statement.
Meanwhile, unknown people in Lusaka’s Chinika area stoned to death a security guard.
Katongo stated that Elijah Lusambo, 57, was found dead with multiple injuries in the early hours of yesterday at Limbanda company premises.
