Balanga returns to Prison as Chipepo is confirmed at Indeni

Congolese coach Ishmael Balanga has returned to Prison Leopards to take over from Mwenya Chipepo who has left the club for Ndola-based side, Indeni.

Balanga was the man in charge of the Collect Boys in 2019 when they were relegated back to the National Division One.

Meanwhile, Indeni has finally made an official announcement of their appointment of Mwenya Chipepo as their new head coach. Chipepo replaces Dabid Chilufya who was sacked at the start of this month following a media rant.

“Welcome To Indeni Football Club Coach Mwenya Chipepo. We officially announce the appointment of Mwenya Chipepo as team Head Coach.

Coach Mwenya Chipepo joins us from Prison Leopards Football Club based in Kabwe and playing the Faz/Mtn Super Division League and the coming Absa Cup Competition.”

Chipepo already started his life with Indeni over the weekend and was on the losing end as Chris Kaunda’s Sensational Zanaco handed the Oilo men a 3-1 defeat.
