AVIC ASSURES GOVT OVER POLICE HOUSES

AVIC International has assured government  of  completing  construction of  houses for Police and Immigration officers  in Chililabombwe District on time.
Company Business Manager Lee Hong says his firm is aware of government’s desire to provide decent Housing to police officers hence the need to complete the works on time.
Mr. Hong told ZNBC that there is no reason to delay  the two housing projects because all the building materials are in place.
He said the houses will not only provide accommodation to the officers but also add beauty to the border town.
Meanwhile Construction of a modern District Hospital in Chililabombwe has advanced.
Chililabombwe District Commissioner Paul Mulenga says the hospital will be opened to the public upon completion of phase one in the next few months.
Mr. Mulenga says preparations to open the facility have since started adding that doing so will help in improving people’s access to health services.
