An Australian based company Westate Resources Limited has pledged to invest about 120 Million dollars into mining activities within Nangoma in Central Province.
Company Managing Director, PAUL BERRESFORD says this injection of capital aims to boost both expansion and exploration efforts in the region.
Speaking when he met with Central Province Minster, PRINCESS KASUNE, Mr. BERRESFORD said the funds will be disbursed in phases to support various aspects of the company’s operations with a key focus on sustainable growth and responsible resource management.
And Ms. KASUNE stressed the need for the investor to adhere to established regulations and governing mining activities.
She said investment in the country should not be done at the expense of the safety of communities.
