Atletico Lusaka suffer defeat… Wins for Zanaco, Power, Nkwazi and Forest Rangers 

Newly promoted side Atletico Lusaka suffered a 3-1 loss at the hands of Forest Rangers away at Dola Hill in Ndola. 

Quadri Kola, Hope Katwishi and Tiki Chiluba scored a goal each while Benjamin Chisala pulled one back for the ‘Bad Boys’.

Elsewhere, Power Dynamos started the season with a 2-1 win over Mufulira Wanderers thanks to goals from Fredrick Mulambia and new signing Brian Masanyinga. 

Wanderers pulled one back through John Chilangwa in the dying minutes but Abayellow held on to win the match. 

At Edwin Imboela Stadium, Christopher Zulu scored a brace as Nkwazi saw off Mutondo Stars 2-0. 

Kabwe Warriors and Green Eagles played to a 1-1 draw in Choma. 

ZANACO’s new signing Araima Lambert Gueme scored on his debut as ZANACO beat Indeni 2-0 away at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium. 

Christopher Muhango scored the other goal for the Wedson Nyirenda coached outfit.

Record 13 time Super League Champions, Nkana were held to a goalless draw by newcomers Lumwana Radiants.
