Apply For Loans – MUBANGA

Small and Medium Enterprises Development Minister ELIAS MUBANGA has urged Women and youths to apply for Empowerment funds under the Zambia Credit Guarantee Scheme for SMEs.

Mr. MUBANGA says this month-end is the deadline for SMEs to access the 365 Million Kwacha which has been made available by government.

He says the ministry is confident that the funds will be disbursed to SMEs so that they can grow their businesses.

Mr. MUBANGA said this in interview with journalists in Luangwa.

The minister also urged the people of Luangwa to take advantage of the Empowerment Funds to venture into Livestock saying the environment is conducive.

He, however, said it is important for Women and Youths to be part of cooperatives so that they can receive the funds.

Mr. MUBANGA further urged the marketeers in Luangwa and across the country to also apply for the Marketeers booster loan to enable them grow their businesses.
