Am enjoying the best health, says President Lungu

PRESIDENT Edgar Lungu has assured the nation that he stands on peaceful campaigns and he is hopeful that he will win confidently without a re-run.

The Head of State said this when in an interview with Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation (ZNBC) this morning.

The Head of State also said he is no longer a novice in politics and warned those under rating him that they will be shocked.

He also cleared the air on speculation that he is not well. He dismissed the report as propaganda activities of the Opposition.

In his response to Frankline Tembo, President Edgar Lungu said he is enjoying the best and sound health.

He says as a human being, it didn’t mean that he can’t fall sick and if he did, the nation would be informed.

He said the Opposition were acting in panic and were therefore keen to play underhand methods and activities.

He has called on the Zambians to have confidence that he is the best driver for the national agenda at the moment.

He said that his campaign team have drawn a program schedule that will take him to provincial capitals in the coming days.

He said he will be going to provincial headquarters and will hold campaign rallies.
