Al Hilal bow out of Kagame Cup as APR book date against Arrows

Rwandese side APR is through to the 2024 Cecafa Cup final and will face Zambian Champions Red Arrows.

APR beat Sudanese giants Al Hilal 5-4 on post match penalties.

Arrows defeated another Sudanese side Al Wadi in other semi final.

Al Hilal was the tournament favourites.

They beat Red Arrows 5-0 in the group stage.

The Zambian side recovered from that defeat and managed to beat Gor Mahia and Djibouti Telkom to advance to the semi finals

Chisi Mbewe’s side will now battle for a chance to walk away with $30,000 (K765,000 Approximately) should they beat APR on Sunday.

The runners up will walk away with $20,000 while the team that will win the third and 4th play off will walk away with $10,000.

Red Arrows will face Malawi’s Nyasa Bullets in the CAF Champions League.

The winner between the two sides will play TP Mazembe in the next round.
