By Ruth Chayinda:Tourism and Arts Minister Charles Banda says the acquisition of the national airline will enable the country to have control over tourism traffic inflows.Dr. Banda says an airline will help to target certain tourism markets and hence his Ministry is a key stakeholder in the direction of re-establishment of a national carrier.He was speaking when representatives of Airbus, an international pioneer in the aerospace sector made a presentation for Zambia to consider getting aircrafts from the plane makers.And Airbus senior Sales Director in Charge of Customers Affairs-Zambia Jerome Charieras said Zambia is among the only 11 countries in world without a national air carrier.He said this was not a realistic picture because many of the said countries are among the poorest in world.
