AFCON legend joins Chipolopolo camp
2012 African Cup of Nations winner Noah Chivuta has joined the Chipolopolo Boys camp in South Africa for the 2024 Cosafa Cup.
The Far East based former Zambia midfielder has joined Chisi Mbewe’s backroom staff as a performance analyst.
Zambia arrived at in Port Elizabeth on Wednesday afternoon after making a connecting from Johannesburg.
The team left Lusaka on Zambian Airways at 07:30 and arrived in Johannesburg at around 09:00.
They connected to Port Elizabeth at 15:00.
Zambia will face Kenya on Thursday at 19:00 in a Group B match.
In an earlier kickoff Zimbabwe will entertain Comoros in the other group match.
The tournament kicked off on Wednesday with Group A ties.
Botswana and Eswatini shared spoils in the opening match.
Mozambique drew 1-1 against South Africa in a late kickoff.
