94 admitted to the bar

Ninety Four out of 332 candidates who sat for the 2015/2016 Law Bar Examinations have been admitted to the bar.

Chief Justice Ireen Mambilima officiated at the Admission Ceremony of the 94 lawyers in Lusaka on Thursday, June 16, 2016..

Justice Mambilima urged the new lawyers to abide by the professional conduct and ethics of the legal profession.

She also called on the new lawyers to invest in research and always prepare adequately before they appear in court.

Justice Mambilima said lawyers should play a role in the efficient disposal of cases before the court.
